First, make preparations after purchasing a jaw crusher
1. Carefully inspect whether the lubrication condition of the bearing is good and whether there is sufficient grease at the connection of the toggle plate inside the bearing.
2. All fasteners should be carefully inspected to ensure they are completely tightened.
3. Check whether the protective devices are in good condition. If any unsafe phenomena are found, they should be eliminated immediately.
4. Check if there are any ores or other debris in the crushing chamber. If so, they should be removed immediately.
Ii. Starting
Only after inspection and verification that the machine and the transmission parts are in normal condition can it be started.
2. This machine can only be started under no-load conditions.
3. After starting, if any abnormal situation is found, the machine should be stopped immediately. Only after the cause is identified and the potential hazard is eliminated can it be started again.
Iii. Maintenance and Use
Materials can be fed only after the crusher is operating normally.
2. The materials to be crushed should be evenly added into the crushing chamber, and side feeding should be avoided to prevent sudden load changes or unilateral sudden increases.
Under normal working conditions, the temperature rise of the bearing should not exceed 35℃, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 70℃. Otherwise, the machine should be stopped immediately, the cause identified and eliminated.
Iv. Lubrication
Regular attention should be paid to timely lubrication of the friction surfaces, which can ensure the normal operation of the machine and extend its service life.
2. The grease used in this machine should be determined based on the usage location, temperature and other conditions. Generally, calcium-based, sodium-based or calcium-sodium based grease can be adopted.
3. The grease added to the bearing housing should be 50-70% of its volume and must be replaced every three months. When changing the oil, the dirt inside the bearings and bearing housings must be cleaned with clean gasoline or kerosene.
4. Before starting the machine, grease must be added to the contact area between the toggle plate and the toggle plate gasket.
