Spiral bevel gear transmission is the transmission device adopted by single-cylinder cone crushers. After the gear is loaded, the marks expand from the center to both ends and the tooth top. As the load increases, the marks gradually cover the tooth surface, thereby meeting the requirements of transmission quality and service life. If the impression and side clearance are not appropriate, adjustments need to be made. The position of the impression should be used to determine whether to move the large wheel or the small wheel first and the direction of movement. There is a basis for this. Whether to move the large wheel or the small wheel, the impression and side clearance are adjusted by changing the installation distance of the gears. However, due to the structural limitations of the cone crusher, it is very difficult to adjust the large wheel. Therefore, in the past, the marks and side clearance were adjusted by increasing or decreasing the thickness of the gasket. Only by replacing the liner can the thickness of the planar thrust bearing be changed, thereby altering the installation distance of the large gear. Spiral bevel gear transmission is the transmission device adopted by single-cylinder cone crushers. If there are marks at both ends of the tooth surface, the most effective method is to change the installation distance of the large wheel and compensate for the side clearance by changing the installation distance of the small wheel. However, to meet the side clearance requirements, the installation distance of the gears should not be greatly changed, which will destroy the correct engagement marks of a pair of gears; otherwise, the machine will be damaged. In view of the shortcomings of traditional methods, in recent years, people have adjusted the gear side clearance by adding a rotating shaft box. In this way, the axis of the transmission shaft box and the axis of the machine shaft box hole are eccentric. After rotating the transmission shaft box, both the side clearance and the top clearance can be changed.
The adjustment method is as follows: When adjusting, first loosen the screws that fix the pinion shaft box assembly, remove the sealing ring from the shaft box flange, and then adjust the gear side clearance according to the following steps: Moving the adjustment block downward (clockwise) can increase the tooth clearance; Moving the adjusting bump upwards (counterclockwise) can reduce the gear side clearance.
